Who We Are

The New Groove Teaching Artists are a team of passionate and talented musicians who use our creative voices to positively impact students to grow in their skill and passion for music. All of our teaching artists are highly trained musicians, active performers, and passionate about creating positive change in music.

How We Teach

New Groove specializes in music education for students ages 3 – adult! We offer private lessons, group classes, masterclasses, community outreach, and performance experiences. We teach in studio lessons, in home lesson, and virtual lessons. Our two in-person lesson hubs are in Philadelphia, PA & Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Reqs

Teaching Artists must be highly trained in their instrument, have excellent communication skills, be punctual, work well with others, have teaching availability in their schedule, and be excited about working with students who range from complete beginner to advanced in their instrument. Prior private teaching experience is appreciated, but not required – New Groove will provided any training necessary.
